Exterior Cladding Products & Services

uPVC Cladding

We install Eurocell uPVC cladding, a lightweight alternative to timber that needs no regular painting or staining. Shiplap and Open-V profiles, with a choice of colours, woodgrain finishes and matching trims, suit a range of property styles.

Fibre Cement Cladding
We install high-quality fibre cement cladding for a durable, low-maintenance exterior. We can help you choose suitable boards, colours and finishes to complement your property, with product details and care requirements confirmed before installation.

Cladding Repairs

Damaged, loose or deteriorating cladding does not always require complete replacement. We assess the affected area and advise whether repairs are practical, taking account of the condition of the supporting structure and the availability of matching boards.

A Fresh Look for Your Property

Refresh a frontage, gable or extension with colours that complement your windows and brickwork.

Explore Eurocell’s plain and woodgrain finishes or discuss suitable fibre cement options. Even a small clad area can make a noticeable difference.

uPVC or Fibre Cement Cladding?

Eurocell uPVC is lightweight and often more economical.

Fibre cement offers durable weatherboarding in a choice of finishes.

We can help you compare appearance, maintenance and suitability for your property.

What Is Behind the Cladding Matters

Sound supports, suitable fixings, ventilation and careful detailing all matter.

We check for damp or decay before replacement, and follow the chosen manufacturer's installation guidance for battens, clearances and finishing details.

What Affects the Price?

Costs depend on the area, material, finish and access required. Removing old cladding, repairing supporting timbers and detailing around windows or doors can also affect the price.

Signs Your Cladding Needs Attention

Cladding problems can affect both the appearance of your property and its protection from the weather. Signs worth investigating include:

  • Rotting, soft or splitting timber boards.
  • Loose, cracked or missing cladding.
  • Gaps at joints, corners or around openings.
  • Persistent staining or damp behind the cladding.
  • Repeated painting and repairs that no longer provide a lasting result.

An isolated damaged board may be repairable. More widespread deterioration may make replacement the better option. We can assess the condition and explain the practical choices.

Exterior Cladding: Your Questions Answered

  • What is exterior cladding used for?

Exterior cladding provides a protective and decorative outer covering to part or all of a building.

It can replace deteriorating timber, refresh a frontage or give an extension a contrasting finish.

We install Eurocell uPVC and high-quality fibre cement cladding, with options to complement traditional and modern properties.

  • Which is better: uPVC or fibre cement cladding?

The best choice depends on your property, budget and preferred appearance. Eurocell uPVC is lightweight, low maintenance and often more economical. Fibre cement provides durable weatherboarding, with colours and textures depending on the chosen range.

We consider your project, aims and any property restrictions before recommending suitable options. Product specifications, including fire performance, must suit the building and complete wall construction.

We can help you compare the options for your project.

  • Can you replace existing timber cladding?

Yes. We can remove deteriorating timber cladding and replace it with uPVC or fibre cement boards.

The supporting structure needs to be checked so that any necessary repairs can be addressed before the new cladding is installed.

  • Can damaged cladding be repaired?

Sometimes individual boards or a small section can be replaced without renewing the whole installation. This depends on the damage, the condition of the supports and the availability of compatible boards and trims.

We assess the cause as well as the visible damage. Older or weathered cladding can be difficult to match, so we explain the likely finish before recommending a repair.

  • Does cladding improve insulation?

Cladding alone should not be treated as an insulation upgrade.

Thermal improvements depend on the existing wall and whether insulation is included as part of a suitably designed installation.

If improving warmth is one of your aims, mention this when discussing the project.

  • How much maintenance does exterior cladding need?

Both materials need less routine upkeep than painted timber, but neither should be treated as maintenance-free.

uPVC requires occasional cleaning rather than regular painting or staining.

Fibre cement cladding is also generally low maintenance, although cleaning and redecoration requirements depend on the chosen product and finish.

Check for loose boards, damaged joints and blocked ventilation gaps, and keep guttering working properly. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and avoid pressure washing unless expressly permitted.

  • Can you clad just part of a property?

Yes. A gable, upper storey, extension or entrance can be clad without covering the whole building.

Colours, textures and finishing trims can be chosen to complement the surrounding brickwork, windows and roofline.

Comparing physical samples is useful because colours can look different on a screen.

  • Do you work on commercial properties?

Yes. We install, replace and repair exterior cladding for commercial customers as well as homeowners across Suffolk.

Suitable materials depend on the building’s use, height, exposure and relevant requirements.

Send your postcode, photographs and a brief description of your aims so we can discuss the options and arrange an assessment where needed.
